ZOOM whitening in the dental office
ZOOM whitening is performed only by a dentist. ZOOM whitening is the cutting-edge technology of modern teeth whitening and is the only method on the market that promises to maintain teeth whitening results for up to a year. ZOOM whitening is safe and works without damaging your teeth.
During the ZOOM whitening procedure, the teeth are first cleaned with a cleaning paste. The gums are then covered with a gum protection gel to prevent the whitening gel from flowing from the tooth surface onto the gums. Once the mucous membrane is protected, a whitening gel is applied to the teeth, which is activated by light rays from a special ZOOM lamp. The procedure lasts 15 minutes and can be repeated up to 4 times. At the end of the procedure, the gel and gum protection are removed. The entire procedure takes 1.5-2 hours.
ZOOM teeth whitening in a dental office is safe because the doctor/oral hygienist first examines the condition of the teeth and gums and immediately informs the patient if any contraindications or risk factors arise. Also, the dental office does not use a whitening gel that is stronger than permitted or a lamp that is stronger than the norm. When whitening teeth in a dental office, the patient can be sure that the procedure will be performed responsibly and by a specialist in their field.
