Sapphire teeth whitening

The new innovative and unique teeth whitening system Denmat Sapphire Whitening or Lumismile is effective, fast and safe. The Lumismile whitening system helps to achieve a smile up to 8 shades whiter with minimal time and minimal tooth sensitivity.

Lumismile Sapphire whitening is performed by a well trained specialist and the procedure works through the combination of a whitening gel and a special plasma arc light (PAC). Sapphire Lumismile teeth whitening gel is made from carbamide peroxide, which is similar to the chemical composition of water. Thus, Lumismile teeth whitening is considered the safest whitening system in dentistry. Sapphire plasma arc curing light does not use UV radiation and is therefore safe for the eyes. The entire procedure takes approximately 30-60 minutes.

Home care after Sapphire teeth whitening

After a teeth whitening procedure, it is recommended to avoid highly pigmented foods and drinks, such as red sauces, mustard, ketchup, soy sauce, tea, coffee, dark soft drinks, red wine, etc. This is especially important during the first 24 hours after the procedure. We also recommend avoiding smoking or using tobacco products. Some tooth sensitivity is a normal reaction that will disappear within 24-72 hours after the procedure.

Attention! Since whitening systems are not affected by procedures performed during dental restoration, it is most sensible to whiten teeth before any restoration, such as the installation of dental crowns, veneers, or replacement of fillings. Teeth with cracks or holes also need to be repaired before whitening.

Lumismile Sapphire whitening is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding women.

To prolong the results of teeth whitening, Sapphire Lumismile gels are also available for home use. In addition, proper oral hygiene naturally helps maintain the results. Brushing teeth twice a day (morning and evening) and using dental floss and/or mouthwash.
